Here are a variety of videos and songs for your sensory pleasure; some from our CDs, some from our first all-Bowie show, some demos which will likely never make it past that stage, and some (recorded for special, third-party projects) which perhaps deserve a wider airing. At the moment, you'll find:
Videos: An honest-to-goodness music video for a track from our 2nd album, as conceived and executed by the students of Mr. Sean P. Hafer's Motion Design class at the University of Cincinnati; and "Suffragette City" as shot from the Southgate House ballroom balcony during our first Bowie show. From "Blood On The Ballroom Floor," a tribute to the Jacksons at the Southgate House, 19 October 2007: Our performance of Jermaine Jackson's 1982 single "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy" and "Workin' Day And Night" from Michael Jackson's 1979 classic Off The Wall. Band Rehearsals from May 2006: Rough versions of five songs that may or may not one day make it (in polished up form) to a Leisure EP or full length CD. [ © 2006 Jude P. Hayden/Leisure] Some performances from the Renegade Garage Players' Musicfest on Feb 25, 2006: Jude's set: JudeRGP (19MB) Mark's set: MarkRGP (11 MB) our good friend Steve Schutz's set: SteveRGP (9MB) "She Loves Me" / "Super Great" / "Nothing Really" / "Brittlestar" / "Everyday Orange" / "Miniplanet" All selections from our second cd release, Cosmonaut. [ © 2000 Criddle-Hayden] "All of a Sudden (It's '78)"- an XTC cover done for the Chalkhills fan site; we've re-imagined this English Settlement track as if performed by the White Music lineup. Yes, we're music geeks, but the fun 'Jack-Black-in-High-Fidelity' kind. [Written by Andy Partridge, Virgin Music Ltd.] "Space Oddity" [Written by David Bowie, TRO-Essex Music International Inc (ASCAP)] "Suffragette City" [Written by David Bowie, Jones Music America (ASCAP)/Chrysalis Songs (BMI)/Fleur Music (BMI)] Two songs from our first Bowie show. "Shannon", "Do You Know Rafe Jones?", "Not For Nothing"- Three homeless recordings; please take them in and treat them kindly. You never know when one of them might return the favor. [ © 2004 Jude P. Hayden] "Savoy Truffle"- A Beatles cover done for potential inclusion on a friend's tribute CD. Showcases our continuing desire to play covers that the audience doesn't know. [Written by George Harrison, Harrisongs Ltd. (ASCAP)] "Coincidence"- One of our evergreen originals, performed by Dave & Jude at (the now-defunct) Ivories club in 1995. Folks came for the poor acoustics, but they stayed for the witty stage patter. [ © 1995 Jude P. Hayden] You can download the whole Ziggy show by clicking here: Ziggy Show (106MB zip file)! |
